Background
With a background in Web Development, Digital Design, and Art Education I have a range of skills that have led me to become a specialist in UX Engineering. In recent months, you can find me embedded in a client’s team as a consultant on Front End Design and Development best practices, working on an app, advising on Accessibility in UI, investigating ways to improve a site’s performance, building animated banner ads, or tinkering around in Illustrator.

Maintained client design systems to faciltate best practice regarding Accessibility, design, and Front End development.

T-shirt design
Designed a t-shirt for a school dance team using dance students imagery and vibrant colours as inspiration.
Design Adobe Illustrator -
Client Applications: Accessibility Review
Conducted a Digital Accessibility Review for a couple client applications, advised how to meet WCAG AA conformance and updated Design System components to meet requirements.
- Completed Accessibility testing, documented findings and then created Jira tickets to prioritise work.
- Conducted sessions with team to demo, explain findings, and answer any questions.
- Updated Design System components to meet WCAG Level AA conformance.
- Demonstrated Screen Reader and keyboard-only usage of client applications across several development teams.
